but life has been crazy. my hours at work have increased dramatically (not enough though, unfortunately), my good friend/neighbor and her two young children demand a good deal of my time, i had an out of town trip for my birthday (the first time my husband and i have been on a trip together since we met), i caught an unshakable cold, and to top it all off, we welcomed a new member of our little family.

(he doesn’t have a name yet because we can’t agree on one. I want to name him Smeagol. Trust me, it is fitting. But my husband doesn’t agree with me.)
